Net Temps are currently recruiting for a Senior Project Manager for a National Grid scheme in Norwich. As a project lead you will drive the project from launch to completion, whilst assisting with aspects of design, tendering, cost, and risk management.

The Company

The client is a tier 1 contractor with a breadth of experience in infrastructure management/installation. With securing large frameworks, this will be an excellent opportunity to become part of the UK's leading Power T&D team.

Attributes/Qualifications

  • Engineering/Construction degree
  • Project management experience within the power/utilities sector.
  • Strong knowledge of GIS switchgear/overhead lines/substation construction/HV cabling schemes up to 400kV
  • Display strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Recent experience working on transmission networks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading the Power T&D team.
  • Liaising with key stakeholders within the business including the National Grid engineers.
  • Delivering business strategy and outperforming key business measures.
  • Working to milestones and deadlines.
  • Subcontractor management.
  • Support with design and tendering processes.
  • Evaluating risk and managing executing solution plans to a high standard.

Renumeration

  • £75000 - £90000 Salary Per Annum
  • £6000 Car Allowance Per Annum
  • Quarterly Bonus Potential
