Daniel Owen are looking for a Ganger in York to start work mid-late Janurary 2024.
Job duration is 32 weeks, potentially longer. Candidate will be point of contact for the labourers working under the Project Manger and 3 Site Managers.
Making sure loads (deliveries) are taken where they need to be on site, check everyone is keeping the site clean, supervise 7 labourers, delegate daily tasks, but also get involved with labouring duties whilst leading the team.
Required: CSCS, 2 strong references, Clean Criminal Record. Ganger/Management/Supervisory experience. Strong communication skills and initiative. Construction experience 3+ years
Advantageous: SSSTS/SMSTS, First Aid, Driving Licence, DBS Certificate.
