We're looking for a Principal Civil Engineer for a recently established team in Nottingham, who through organic growth and exceptional leadership have developed a stellar reputation, both for their engineering excellence and as a great place to work.

Reporting to the Regional Director, you will lead the team in the technical delivery of design packages for developer and private sector clients, chiefly in the residential, commercial and industrial sectors.

You will have the opportunity to join a company that is undergoing a rapid growth phase despite the current market conditions, thanks to strong business development and ambitious vision from the Regional Director, leading to a healthy forward pipeline of new and exciting projects.

Principal Civil Engineer - Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in the detailed design of highways, drainage, earthworks and utilities;
  • Knowledge of the Highways Act and Water Act sectional agreements, applicable to new developments, including S38, S278, S104, S106, S185 etc;
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D (must), and MicroDrainage, InfoDrainage or Causeway Flow.
  • The ability and willingness to lead and mentor a team of talented, junior engineers.
