Mechanical & Electrical Clerk of Works job in Birmingham, West Midlands

Mechanical & Electrical Clerk of Works job available, working for multi-disciplinary consultancy, that provide services across residential and regeneration/mixed use sectors. Our client is looking to speak to candidates who have experience in both Mechanical & Electrical practices. For this role, they are offering a salary of up to £50,000 + Car Allowance.

Our client provide modern services, in the residential and regeneration sectors for local authority and residential clients. They are now looking for an M&E Clerk of Works to join the team in Birmingham to work on high-risk buildings, education, and commercial projects.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough design reviews to ensure the high standards of quality and compliance
  • Inspect ongoing works that align with the project specifications
  • Maintain a details progress diary, recording all factors contributing to the specific project, on a weekly basis
  • Perform snagging/pre-handover inspections and end-of-defects inspections as necessary
  • Prepare and submit comprehensive site visit reports
  • Attend and actively contribute to site meetings.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Recognised Mechanical and/or Electrical Qualifications
  • MICWCI/LICWCI/ICWCI/CIOB/RICS is preferred
  • IT Literate
  • Full UK Driving License.
