Due to an increased work load and turnover within their business unit our client are looking to add a General Foreman to their team. You will be working on a genuinely interesting scheme, with some challenging engineering elements that will make sure each day is interesting!

Responsibilities
As General Foreman, you'll be reporting to the Works Manager, whilst carrying out the site supervision & management of your section of the project to ensure delivery on time and to budget. Your duties will include
- Managing safety on site, giving site inductions and Toolbox Talks, Daily Task Briefings and Risk Assessments to staff.
- Assist with the management and monitoring of the Subcontractors and their performance.
- Maintain daily records of site activities and liaise with the Project manager over information for progress reports
The candidate
To be suitable for this role you will,
- Be able to demonstrate previous experience of work on similar projects.
- Knowledge of site construction activities and management of staff, operatives, and subcontractors.
- Relevant CSCS Card and SMSTS
