Senior Civil Engineer - Role: An exciting role awaits you within the civils/drainage team of our client. This role, based in Cardiff, offers a unique chance to contribute to challenging projects in the infrastructure sector, focusing on Sustainable Urban Drainage in addition to traditional surface water drainage design.
Key Responsibilities:
- Spearhead the delivery of Sustainable Urban Drainage and surface water drainage design.
- Collaborate within a dynamic team, receiving guidance from an experienced Associate Director.
- Efficiently manage concurrent projects, ensuring prioritisation of tasks for effective client delivery.
- Cultivate and manage relationships with key stakeholders and statutory bodies.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
- Experience in surface and foul water design.
- Possession of a Civil Engineering degree.
- Progress towards or completion of a Professional Qualification with a recognised institution.
- Proficiency in 3D design and modelling tools such as MicroDrainage and/or InfoDrainage or Flow.
- Familiarity with Water Authority statutory approval processes and SuDS Approval Body.
- Awareness of National Planning Policy and Infrastructure design requirements related to flood risk management.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
