Assistant Quantity Surveyor - career opportunity with a Construction Consultancy based in the Birmingham area. This highly successful and well established firm covers the full range of pre and post contract PQS services to clients, although this role would initially focus on the very front end / pre contract duties such as measurement and cost planning, which is an excellent base to a successful career in quantity surveying.
We are looking for ambitious and enthusiastic candidates at the early stages of their career in construction. Ideally with some previous experience in Quantity Surveying you might either be currently studying towards a degree in Quantity Surveying, or have recently graduated. A relevant qualification at degree level, or undergraduate in Quantity Surveying is essential however we are able to consider candidates on the apprenticeship programme, or looking to transfer to this from full time study. Full training and support is on offer and you will be able to work alongside more experienced Senior Quantity Surveyors as you learn core PQS / Quantity Surveying skills.
As well as a relevant degree in Quantity Surveying or similar you MUST also already be based within commuting distance of this role. If you do not meet these criteria we will not be able to consider your application.
