Position Overview:
As a Mechanical Package Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the mechanical systems and packages within a Data Centre project. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of the project, meeting quality standards, and adhering to project timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the mechanical aspects of the Data Centre, ensuring that all mechanical systems are installed and commissioned to meet project specifications.
- Supervise and coordinate a team of mechanical engineers and subcontractors, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure that all mechanical installations meet industry standards and client requirements.
- Work closely with project stakeholders to develop and manage budgets and schedules for the mechanical packages, ensuring on-time delivery within budget constraints.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with mechanical installations, collaborating with other project managers and teams to ensure a smooth and efficient project lifecycle.
- Maintain effective communication with clients, keeping them informed of project progress, addressing concerns, and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Uphold the highest standards of health and safety on the construction site, ensuring all mechanical installations comply with relevant regulations and guidelines.
Requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Background in managing mechanical packages for large-scale construction projects, preferably in critical environments.
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations.
