If so, we are looking for a Learning and Development Specialist to be a key member of the talent team supporting delivery and acting as a point of contact for various stakeholders and partners within the business and externally.

Role Purpose

The role is responsible for the booking, organisation and coordination of various learning and talent-development offerings both face-to-face, virtually and digital, supporting the talent team members.

What will the role look like?

  • Development and delivery of training offerings follow the full life cycle of design and development.
  • Coordination and organisation of logistics, venues, audience members, hotel bookings, budgeting and support during delivery sessions, creation and administration of evaluation methods, communications, and reporting.
  • The quality of data is critical to enable the talent team to monitor and evaluate learner engagement.
  • Early engagement and communicating succinctly and with impact are also key elements for high quality delivery of training.
  • Able to develop relationships with multiple stakeholders and ensure ease of organisation, prioritisation and a great customer experience.

What skills & experience are we looking for?

  • CIPD Level 2 Learning and Development or Human Resource
  • Data analysis or analytical software - Excel, PowerBI or advanced reporting capability using excel.
  • Computer based training and recording software - SuccessFactors LMS, LinkedIn Learning, Microsoft suite (PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, Word)
  • Customer experience - knowledge of principles and processes for providing good customer and stakeholder service. This includes needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation.
  • Administration and management - knowledge of business and management principles involved in planning, resource allocation, and coordination of people and resources.
  • Understand the full life cycle of training design and delivery and can advise colleagues and managers on training prioritises, design, delivery, further education available, certification or membership mandates, career toolkits and career development architecture.
  • Understand HR processes related to talent and learning offerings such as performance management, Knowing Our People, succession planning, diversity and inclusion, career development - the why in terms of leader and talent offerings.
  • Knowledge of learning strategies and evaluation methods.
