Structural Revit Technician
£45k-£52k
South London
Would you be keen to join a modern and innovative structural design studio in South London and work on bespoke architecturally led projects? Would you be happy being the sole technician (at this stage) in a busy design office?
This boutique design consultancy is based in South London, close to tube and overground rail, and has been running over 4 years. The Directors are all MIStructE qualified and are working with top architects.
You would therefore need to be sufficiently experienced to be able to take control of the BIM side of their projects. The firm are using Revit so you must be up to speed with Revit and have a really good understanding of how buildings go together. You must have several years of experience working as a structural revit technician in a structural design practice to be considered for this role. Good communication skills are also essential.
Projects are often niche high end schemes, commonly in the private residential sector but also including schools, shops, sports halls, universities, offices and other various works. Projects range from small up to £20m in value and work is usually architecturally led.
The studio team is currently less than 10 staff but is growing and has longer term aims to be a medium sized practice. They are in a great location in South London in office space shared with architects. They are right by the river, close to pubs, shops and a lovely park. Cycle parking and showers are available, as well as flexible working and work from home options. When in the office, lunches are often provided and a fruit basket is delivered regularly. All staff here work on a trust basis - no need for timesheets!
