Dutton Recruitment are recruiting a Storeman for 5 Months work based in Brigg, East Yorkshire, commencing in April 2024.

Key Tasks:

To check, count and suitably package goods.
To load both Company and hired vehicles for deliveries and ensure safe loading.
To ensure that deliveries are met by allocating transport and requesting drivers.
Collate the necessary paperwork for deliveries.
To arrange the booking of carriers or other transport as may be required by the Commercial Manager from time to time.
Receive inward goods, visually inspect for damage, check quantities, and sign off delivery notes. Report defaults to Production Manager and originator of the order.
Carry out booking in procedure daily to ensure correct and up-to-date information is available to Production.
Move inward goods to the appropriate area.
To maintain stock records and levels.
To keep all designated areas free from rubbish and debris, maintaining good housekeeping.
Carry out clerical and administrative tasks, utilising the computer as required.
To deal with incoming COSHH substances and associated paperwork in accordance with Company procedures.
Making arrangements for deliveries/collections to and from site as required.
To secure incoming site goods to site bonded stores.

Pay Rates:

We recommend using LTD Company Status for pay. Working hours are up to 45-50 hours Monday to Friday, with Weekend overtime available.
