Our client is a leading provider of vacant property and people protection, security and management services including lone worker protection. For over 40 years they have been providing property, site and personal protection services to their clients and have grown to become a truly national business employing more than 600 people across 25 offices in the UK.
As a business our client makes a commitment to employ locally, train well and further the careers of their staff, so that in turn, they give the absolute best service to our customers. As they continue to grow from strength to strength, they are now seeking a Business Development Director to join the team, to spearhead new business growth and profitability within the commercial property sector across the north of England.
The Role
Reporting to the Group Sales and Marketing Director, the Business Development Director will provide visible leadership and direction of all sales activities to achieve the Group's key strategic growth objective, taking full responsibility for driving sales and profit growth through execution of an efficient sales strategy focused on the development of new and existing business.
This is a fully autonomous role and the successful candidate will have previous experience of selling into at least 2 of the following categories: FM companies, Managing Agents, Insolvency or Insurance. With highly developed business networking and development skills, you are currently operating in a similar role at this level and can point to extensive career achievements in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment. You can evidence your ability to influence decision-makers and you are instantly credible with personal and intellectual presence.
