Construction Project Manager Job in Plymouth, Devon (12-month FTC)
Construction Project Manager job working for a growing commercial developer. You will be joining a passionate, creative team in Plymouth to help with two commercial workplace projects on a 12-month FTC. Our client is now looking to speak with candidates who have construction experience, ideally in the private, commercial sector and has worked with a team of internal and external professionals. For this role they are offering a salary of up to £50,000.
Established in 2009, they create spaces that encourage collaboration for creative industries across London and Devon. They are now looking for a Project Manager to be responsible for the day-to-day management of 2 projects, ranging from £500,000 - £750,000, at various stages of the construction cycle.
Role & Responsibilities
- Responsible for providing relevant project updates to internal departments to support business strategy
- A client and contractor-facing role, providing support and advice on all aspects of the construction project
- Programme, change, and risk management
- Managing the production of design data including conducting technical reviews and acceptances
- Organise, chair, and minute both regular and ad-hoc meetings regarding all aspects of the project - whether that be internally or externally
- Planning and designating additional project resources as necessary
- Writing and distributing project briefs, variation details and further requirements to both contractors and consultants.
Required Skills & Experience
- Construction experience within the private, commercial sector
- 3+ years overseeing UK construction projects
- Experience within workplace projects is preferred
- SMSTS & CSCS Card is essential
- Prince2 Qualification
- Full UK Driving License.
