My client is currently looking to recruit a Civil Site Agent / Manager for an ongoing contract based in Redcar

Contract will be a minimum of 6 months, with the potential for this to be extended due to extensive work load
Temp to permanent opportunity is an option for the right candidate
Must have previous experience with managing heavy civils projects
Will be located on one site for the duration of contract, with potential to be moved afterwards
This role is working for a well known company with a very good reputation and a busy order book.
Rate is negotiable depending on experience - we can pay CIS, PAYE or umbrella

Duties

Day to day management of site and operatives
Ensuring health and safety is adhered to
Will be required to monitor progress of job against programme, ensuring relevant paperwork is up to date including risk assessments and method statements
Ordering of materials and plant
Monitoring and tracking costs
Liaising with clients, contractors and employees on a daily basis
Reporting directly into the contracts manager on a regular basis.

Requirements

SMSTS
Previous experience working as a Site Manager on Civil Projects and be able to provide references to validate this
Proof of right to work documents
First aid
Engineering background is highly desired
