Electrical Testing - EICRS

Salary: £45,000

Location: South London

Private use of the Van

Start date: ASAP

My client one of the biggest Contractors in London is looking for an electrician to carry out EICRS

Role

The purpose of the role is to carry out electrical installation testing in our customer's properties, produce reports to meet the requirements of BS7671 while always maintaining a safe working environment.

  • Carry out periodic inspections of clients' electrical installations in accordance with the current edition of BS7671
  • Produce Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICR) which meets the requirements and quality standards of clients and external accrediting bodies (e.g., NICEIC)
  • Perform other electrical tests and inspections, and produce the appropriate documentation in accordance with the current edition of BS7671
  • Always adhere to Company Health & Safety Policies and Procedures
  • Keep abreast of changes and amendments of standards, regulations, and best practices within the electrical industry
  • Complete follow-on remedial works, where required

Package

  • Full time permanent position
  • Company phone/PDA, vehicle & fuel card
  • 28 days holiday including bank holidays (increases 1 day each year of your employment - maximum of 5 years)
  • Potential of unlimited earnings through overtime and weekend work

Essential Criteria

  • Level 3 C&G or equivalent ( 2365, 2330 )

  • City & Guilds 2391

  • 18th Edition

  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Relevant computer literacy to enable production and electronic submission of reports
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Flexible attitude with strong organisational skills
