Salary: £42,000

Location: East London

I have brilliant opportunity to join a growing Electrical contractor in London, the position requires an engineer to carry out EICRS in domestic properties.

Role

  • Carry out periodic inspections of client's electrical installations in accordance with the current edition of BS7671
  • Produce Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICR) which meets the requirements and quality standards of clients and external accrediting bodies (e.g., NICEIC)
  • Perform other electrical tests and inspections, and produce the appropriate documentation in accordance with the current edition of BS7671
  • Always adhere to Company Health & Safety Policies and Procedures
  • Keep abreast of changes and amendments of standards, regulations, and best practices within the electrical industry
  • Complete follow-on remedial works, where required

Package

  • Full time permanent position
  • Company phone/PDA, vehicle & fuel card
  • 28 days holiday including bank holidays (increases 1 day each year of your employment - maximum of 5 years)
  • Potential of unlimited earnings through overtime and weekend work

Essential Criteria

  • Level 3 C&G or NVQ Level 3

  • City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent ( 2365, 2330

  • 18th Edition

  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Relevant computer literacy to enable production and electronic submission of reports
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Flexible attitude with strong organisational skills
