The role:
You will be joining the Building Technologies Group, which is part of the Building Services team. As a team, you will be working on some of the world's most challenging and exciting engineering projects across a number of sectors including Mission Critical, Aviation, Energy, Commercial, Residential, Blue Light, Education and Defence.

You will be involved in the day-to-day design and management of projects from small net zero carbon housing developments to projects of significant and national scale.

Essentially, you will be producing the design and specification of electronic security systems and producing design documentation such as:

  • General arrangements indicating video surveillance, access control and intrusion detection system equipment positions.
  • Camera field of view drawings.
  • Door elevation details, indicating setting out of access control systems in compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Installation details.
  • System schematics.
  • Detailed equipment schedules indicating all devices and their key functional criteria, operational requirements etc.


Requirements:
The ideal candidate will be degree-qualified, or equivalent qualification in a Security, Electronic Engineering, or ICT related discipline.
