Position Overview: As a Multi-Trade Carpenter, you will play a crucial role in our repairs and maintenance team, focusing on council properties in and around Peterborough. The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking a variety of carpentry tasks, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards and in compliance with relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform a range of carpentry tasks, including but not limited to installation, repairs, and maintenance of doors, windows, kitchen units, and flooring.
  • Work on both planned and reactive maintenance projects in council properties.
  • Collaborate with other tradespeople to deliver comprehensive repairs and maintenance services.
  • Ensure that all work is carried out efficiently, safely, and in accordance with health and safety regulations.
  • Keep accurate records of work completed, materials used, and any additional information required for reporting purposes.
  • Provide excellent customer service, addressing client inquiries and concerns in a professional manner.

    • Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Multi-Trade Carpenter, with a strong focus on repairs and maintenance.
  • Proficient in carpentry techniques, including the installation and repair of doors, windows, kitchen units, and flooring.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, coordinating with other trades to achieve project goals.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to carpentry work.
  • Valid driving license.

    • Van and fuel card included

    Monday- Friday 40 hours paid, happy to do overtime.
