Senior Architect Job in Altrincham, Cheshire

Senior Architect job joining my client in their Altrincham studio in their education team working on higher education projects including university and secondary schools. This role offers a great package including enhanced maternity and paternity, competitive salary, and work-from-home Fridays with a 1 pm finish!

They have two offices, the successful candidate will be joining their northern HQ which is currently made up of around 60 employees, as a practice they have a diverse portfolio in a range of different sectors including education, residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Leading and collaborating with the technical teams, design teams and external contractors
  • Liaising with clients, stakeholders, and contractors and solving queries as they come up
  • Managing project team to deliver upon deadlines
  • Reporting to the senior leadership team of associates and directors to give updates on projects
  • Working proficiently in Revit and AutoCAD daily.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years' UK experience post-qualification
  • Experience in the design and delivery of Education projects desirably further/ higher education projects
  • Strong knowledge of DFE working practices and the contractors' framework
  • Excellent Revit and AutoCAD skills
  • Ability to lead a project team
  • Proven experience running projects.
