Company Overview:

A leading general contractor renowned for delivering innovative construction projects, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced QAQC Manager to lead their quality assurance and quality control efforts on an exciting data center construction project.

As the QAQC Manager for our data center construction project, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest levels of quality and compliance. Your responsibilities will encompass:

Strategic Planning:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive QAQC strategy aligned with project goals, specifications, and industry best practices.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and track the effectiveness of quality management processes.

Leadership and Oversight:

  • Lead a dedicated QAQC team, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful execution of quality control procedures.
  • Conduct regular training sessions for project teams to enhance awareness and understanding of QAQC processes.

Quality Assurance/Quality Control Implementation:

  • Design and execute thorough quality control plans, ensuring compliance with design drawings, specifications, and relevant codes.
  • Conduct regular inspections, audits, and reviews to identify and rectify potential quality issues.

Collaboration:

  • Foster strong collaborative relationships with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to promote a culture of quality excellence.
  • Communicate effectively with all project teams to address and resolve quality-related challenges in a timely manner.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing data and feedback, implementing corrective actions, and sharing lessons learned.
  • Stay abreast of industry advancements and incorporate best practices to enhance QAQC processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a QAQC Manager in the construction industry, with a focus on data center projects preferred.
  • Thorough understanding of construction codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement effective quality management systems.
