Location: West London
Salary: £35,000 - £36,000 per annum
We are recruiting for a Multi Trade Operative to assist in the reactive repairs and maintenance of social housing and void operations across West London and surrounding areas.
Responsibilities:
- Undertaking a variety of responsive maintenance and/or planned works within occupied and void properties
- Using an electronic personal digital assistant device to receive and record work
- Actively dealing with tenant issues and complaints in a positive and effective manner
- Repairing or renewing doors
- Sourcing and fitting various different locks (i.e. sash, mortise, night latch, euro cylinders, etc.)
- Kitchen repairs, including worktop replacement, unit replacement, kick boards, and basic sheet flooring.
- Replacing rotten floorboards, joist repairs, etc.
- Bathroom installations or repairing/replacing any component within toilets, sinks, and baths.
- Repairing or replacing tiles, patch plastering and decorating.
Requirements:
- City & Guilds / NVQ Level 2 or above in Carpentry OR Plumbing
- Full UK Driving Licence (manual)
- Basic Criminal Record Check
