Commercial Director Responsibilities:
- Managing a team of 4 in a mixture of high-end residential and educational projects
- Apply compliant processes & procedures
- Developing accurate project bids with the help of other departments
- Agreeing to timescales, costs and resources for a project
- Creating plans for each stage of a project
- Negotiating with suppliers and contractors
- Constantly monitoring progress, quality and costs
- Reporting regularly to executives about project progress
Commercial Director Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Commercial Management, Quantity Surveying or related fields
- Experience leading commercial teams with proven track record of success
- Experience securing framework agreements with clients
- Experience working on high-end construction projects
- Strong commercial acumen and organisational skills
- Exceptional leadership and management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Strong negotiation skills and financial acumen
