Required: permanent, full-time employee to work Monday to Friday (7am-5pm) as a water engineer on a variety of construction-based projects, including: -- WATER SUPPLY INSTALLATIONS -- LEAK REPAIRS & OUTDOOR PLUMBING -- SEPTIC TANK & FOUL DRAINAGE INSTALLATIONS -- DIGGER & DUMPER DRIVING -- LANDSCAPING & GROUNDWORKS -- POND & LAKE CONSTRUCTION -- See www.wjhatt.co.uk for more information You must hold a full UK driving licence and have previous hands-on construction experience with general construction knowledge. The right attitude will be prized above qualifications, but you must be conscientious, enthusiastic and have good attention to detail. Wages paid weekly but annual salary to be between £33,000 & £40,000, depending on skills & experience. The following qualifications are preferred but not essential: -- 360 degree excavator operator, above & below 10 tonnes -- forward tipping dumper, up to 10 tonnes -- CPCS / NPORS / CITB / BRITTOP card holder -- CAT & Genny service location Experience in any the following would be useful: -- plumbing / laying water pipes -- excavator driving -- dumper driving -- ground tunnelling / thrust moling -- mole ploughing -- trenchers -- groundworks -- butt fusion / electrofusion pipe welding Benefits: -- bonus payments for work completed on time, extra payments for work completed ahead of time -- fully kitted-out van for use while at work -- tools & PPE provided -- relevant training paid for by the company -- all overtime is paid at time & a half; any weekend work is paid at double time We are a small family business that has been completing work to a very high standard since 1937.
