Finance Manager - Knightsbridge - £70,000 to £75,000
My client, a high-end luxury residential property management firm, are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Finance Manager to join their team in Knightsbridge.
You will manage the day-to-day accounting function within the business, ensuring there is effective control of the organisation's assets and liabilities and that all processes comply in full with current accounting regulations.
Duties:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the finance department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable and treasury management.
- Production of accurate and timely financial information, including monthly and quarterly management accounts and KPI reports (by the 12th of each following month), year-end financial accounts for audit and annual budgets.
- Analysis and benchmarking of data as directed highlighting key performance metrics, variances, and trends.
- Ensure all Company financial processes comply fully with accounting regulations and that financial safeguards and controls are in place to deter fraudulent activity.
- Treasury management.
- Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process, working closely with department heads to develop realistic and achievable financial targets.
- Responsible for the preparation of VAT returns and reconciliation and remitting in line with due dates to HM Revenue & Customs.
- Payroll processing, reconciliation and annual returns of P11d, PSA and other reports.
- Manage and mentor the finance team, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to foster their professional development.
- Ensure consistent adoption of best practice and the effective housekeeping of all documentation ensuring full legal and regulatory compliance.
- IT administration and maintenance with assistance from the IT department.
- Drive process improvements and efficiencies within the finance department, leveraging technology and automation where possible.
Experience Required:
- At least five years' of experience as a Finance Manager or Financial Controller within property
- Strong technical skills in financial analysis, budgeting, and financial reporting.
- Leadership and people management skills.
- Experience using MRI QUBE PM and Microsoft BI desirable
- Bachelor's degree in accounting / finance, or a professional qualification ACCA / CIMA
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Hours: Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm, one day per week from home
