Senior Architectural Technologist Job in Manchester, Greater Manchester
Senior Architectural Technologist job now available with an AJ100 practice with 4 offices across the Northeast and West, you will be a key player in the performance and development of this office delivering a portfolio of residential projects across the Northwest. Offering up to £45,000, Hybrid/ Flexible working and 25 days holidays + Bank Holidays
My client has now opened their newest office in Manchester focusing on developer-led residential projects, they have been established for 40 years so have a strong foundation to support this recent growth. During this time they have built a credible reputation through the projects they have delivered across the UK.
Role & Responsibilities
- You will take an active lead in the team coaching and mentoring colleagues to develop their technical skills
- Secure planning permissions, tender quotations in line with company procedures, and undertake contract administration
- Liaise with external consultants, contractors, clients, and shareholders
- Site visits where necessary to review the progress of the projects, giving feedback, guidance, and advice where appropriate
- Use your advanced knowledge of the UK building regulations and legislation and codes of practice
- Manage resources to ensure that clients' needs are met and are within an agreed budget.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proficient in the use of Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office
- 5+ years experience in a UK practice, post-qualification
- Relevant architectural technology degree
- Currently hold a CSCS card or able to immediately train
- Have obtained the MCIAT accreditation or are actively working towards
- Experience running projects from concept through to completion and project teams
- Positive track record of building successful relationships with clients
- Experience with mentoring younger members of staff and developing their skills.
