Job Advert: Plumber Position at Daventry Hospital
Position: Plumber (3-Month Contract)
Location: Daventry Hospital, Daventry (Northampton)
Duration: 3 months
Hours: Full-time
Call out 1 our of 3 weeks. Additional £130 paid when on call outs- Mon- Fri
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine plumbing repairs and maintenance, including but not limited to, fixing leaks, repairing pipes, and unclogging drains.
- Conduct mechanical maintenance tasks related to plumbing systems.
- Respond promptly to emergency plumbing issues and perform necessary repairs.
- Execute planned maintenance tasks as scheduled.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing and mechanical problems.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure a seamless operation.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and hospital policies.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience as a plumber, preferably in a health care or commercial setting.
- Competency in performing mechanical maintenance tasks.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and materials.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Relevant plumbing qualifications and certifications.
- Flexibility to work outside regular hours if necessary.
