Job Title: Firedoor Carpenter for New Fire Door Installations
Location: Beeston
Job Type: Full-Time, Contract
Monday- Friday 7:30-4:30pm.
Job Description: We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Firedoor Carpenter to install new fire doors at the Boots Headquarters in Beeston. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry, specifically in the installation and maintenance of fire doors, ensuring compliance with all relevant safety standards and regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Install new fire doors according to specifications and safety standards.
- Conduct precise measurements and modifications to ensure proper fit and functionality.
- Inspect and ensure all fire doors meet regulatory requirements and company standards.
- Collaborate with project managers, other carpenters, and site supervisors to ensure timely and efficient completion of installations.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Provide professional and courteous service to on-site personnel and management.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a carpenter with expertise in fire door installations.
- In-depth knowledge of fire safety regulations and standards for fire door installations.
- Strong technical skills, including the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Relevant certifications and qualifications in carpentry and fire door installation.
- Physical fitness and the ability to handle the demands of the job, including lifting and working at heights.
