Join Our Team as a Bulk Port Operative in Liverpool!
We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity to join our team as a Bulk Port Operative. As part of a busy stevedore operation, you'll play a key role in the movement of cargo on and off ships at the docks. This role offers career progression, ongoing training, and flexible working hours with a company that values its employees.
Location: Liverpool
Salary: from £11.44 to £21.85
Shift Pattern: 07:00-19:00/19:00-07:00
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Ongoing, Full-time or Part-time Opportunities
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the movement of cargo (including steel stock, bulk ships, and animal feed) on and off vessels at Liverpool docks.
- Follow clear safety and quality standards to ensure the safe and efficient handling of cargo.
- Participate in "on the job" training with experienced operatives, as well as classroom sessions to further your skills.
- Perform general housekeeping duties to maintain a safe working environment.
- Potential for career development with additional training for more skilled roles and plant operation.

- Hopper Port Operative

The Successful Candidate:
- Will be flexible to work across both day and night shifts, depending on vessel schedules.
- A committed and reliable team player with a focus on safety.
- Excellent timekeeping and work ethic.
- Previous experience as a Port Operative, Warehouse Operative, Labourer, or similar roles is advantageous but not essential.
- Opportunity for refresher courses for those with existing or expired plant licenses.
