Our client is an award-winning, multi-disciplinary architectural practice delivering a range of exciting projects, including large-scale residential developments. With significant recent growth including the opening of a new office, they are looking for an ambitious Senior Technician to join the Chelmsford team. The role is suited to a candidate with proven experience delivering working drawings for housing developers, housing associations (HAs), contractors, and SMEs.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality working drawing projects within the technical team.
  • Liaise effectively with team members, consultants, and occasionally clients.
  • Self-check drawings and information to maintain the highest standards of quality.
  • Assist with ancillary tasks that improve team efficiency and overall output.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong portfolio demonstrating the delivery of working drawings for housing projects.
  • Excellent technical knowledge, particularly regarding housing delivery for housebuilders.
  • Excellent drawing, report writing, and organizational skills.
  • Commercial awareness and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Skilled in AutoCAD (Revit experience is beneficial).
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite.
  • Hardworking, team-oriented professional with a proactive approach
