We are seeking a motivated and ambitious Quantity Surveyor to join our expanding team. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful delivery of both residential and commercial projects. Main responsibilities
- Take off and procurement of materials
- Take off and procurement of subcontractor packages
- Compare and analysis subcontractor tender returns and issue recommendations to the commercial manager.
- Compiling, issuing and agreeing estimates with the design team
- Subcontractor enquires and management, inclusive of valuations, payment certificates etc
- Compiling, issuing and agreeing monthly client valuations and accounts.
- Compiling monthly cost reports to commercial manager
- Attending design team meetings
- Attending site to capture variations, ensuring CVI are captured and monitor working sequence
- Assisting with compilation of extension of time claims
Main requirements
- HNC in construction or relevant degree level qualification
- Have a good understanding of commercial and residential construction
- Have minimum 5 years experience as a QS for a main contractor
