Site Supervisor (Hands-On)

Location: Leicester
Rate: £200 - £240 per day
Start Date: 20th January 2025
Duration: Until August 2025
Project: New Children's Home Construction

We are recruiting a hands-on Site Supervisor on behalf of our client for an exciting commercial construction project in Leicester. The successful candidate will oversee and actively contribute to the build of a new children's home, ensuring the project is delivered efficiently, safely, and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and actively participate in on-site activities.
  • Coordinate and manage daily operations to meet project milestones.
  • Oversee tradespeople and subcontractors, ensuring quality and efficiency.
  • Conduct scaffold inspections and maintain safety compliance.
  • Enforce health and safety regulations across the site.
  • Address and resolve any on-site issues promptly.

Requirements:

  • Valid SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme).
  • Current First Aid Certification.
  • Scaffold Inspection Ticket.
  • Proven experience in commercial construction, particularly in supervisory roles.
  • Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
