We have an opportunity for a Multi Trade Operative to join a housing estate team for a local council in North Kensington, West London.
This is a static role so no van and fuel card will be provided, as all properties are within walking distance.
Responsibilities:
- Undertaking a wide range of carpentry and multi-trade works including, but not limited to, plumbing, plastering, decorating (both externally and internally) and tiling, using schedule of rates.
- Floor joists, floor boards, stud work, skirting boards, hanging doors and door saddles, installing kitchens, cupboards, shelving and lock changes.
- Using an electronic hand-held device (PDA) to receive instructions, provide feedback electronically, and log details of works undertaken or to be undertaken.
Requirements:
- Full UK Driving Licence (manual)
- City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in Carpentry and Joinery (essential)
- Basic Criminal Record Check (Disclosure and Barring Service)
