About Us:We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Commercial Plumber to join our team at a leading hospital facility. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with a mechanical and commercial plumbing background to support essential services and ensure the smooth running of hospital infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
Undertake a wide range of planned and reactive maintenance tasks across the hospital, including plumbing and mechanical systems.
Respond promptly to emergency call-outs to ensure minimal disruption to hospital operations.
Work closely with hospital facilities teams to resolve any plumbing or mechanical issues.
Perform regular inspections, repairs, and upgrades of plumbing systems, including water supplies, drainage, and gas systems.
Assist with non-plumbing related tasks where needed, such as basic maintenance and repairs in other building services areas.
Ensure all work complies with relevant health and safety standards and regulations.
Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities and repairs.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Proven experience in commercial plumbing and a mechanical background (essential).
DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check cleared and up to date.
Must live within 30 minutes of the hospital site.
Comfortable with being on-call for emergency plumbing needs.
Ability to work on both planned and reactive tasks and prioritise effectively.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
