Day-to-day responsibilities include pre-contract estimating, cost planning, procurement, and tendering of projects. The candidate will apply value management techniques, produce contract documents, liaise with clients and design teams, and monitor site progress. Attendance at site meetings, managing the commercial aspects and programme of projects, and handling post-contract duties such as issuing variations, valuations, cost reporting, and ensuring compliance with client and statutory requirements are also part of the role. Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for agreeing Final Accounts and ensuring timely project completion. Assistance with fund monitoring for residential and commercial projects may also be required.
