Are you a dynamic and driven individual with a strong background in managing subcontractors? Our client is looking for a Subcontractor Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. Reporting to the Production Manager and Director, this role is crucial in ensuring their projects run smoothly and to the highest standards.

They work across a variety of sectors, including commercial, residential, and public spaces, providing tailored solutions for projects ranging from offices and retail spaces to luxury homes and hotels.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage subcontractors, ensuring quality, compliance, and on-time delivery. Conduct regular visits to subcontractor premises and workshops to monitor performance. Carry out site visits to assess work quality and adherence to deadlines. Address and resolve any performance issues swiftly and effectively. Source and onboard new subcontractors as needed to meet project demands. Control costs and deadlines while ensuring the quality of work is never compromised. Work closely with the workshop team to manage workload, sourcing additional subcontractors when required. Participate in monthly meetings with the Production Director to review progress and performance. Ideal Candidate:

Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proven experience managing subcontractors in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work independently and take initiative. Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities. A proactive problem-solver with a focus on quality and efficiency.
