Site Manager - Multi-Residential Project
Location: Worcester, UK
Salary: £65,000 - £70,000 + Benefits
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee a multi-residential development in Worcester. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on professional to lead site operations, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the site, ensuring smooth progress and adherence to project timelines.
Health & Safety Compliance: Enforce strict health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe working environment for all site personnel.
Quality Control: Maintain high construction standards, conducting regular inspections and addressing any defects or issues.
Subcontractor & Supplier Coordination: Manage and liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and the wider project team to ensure efficient workflow.
Budget & Cost Control: Monitor project costs, work closely with the commercial team, and ensure financial objectives are met.
Stakeholder Communication: Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and other key stakeholders, providing regular project updates.
Problem-Solving: Address and resolve on-site issues proactively, ensuring minimal disruption to project progress.
Skills & Experience Required:
Proven experience as a Site Manager on residential or multi-residential projects.
Strong knowledge of UK building regulations and health & safety laws.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
CSCS, SMSTS, and First Aid certifications (essential).
Experience with NHBC / Building Control compliance (desirable).
