We are representing a well-established Health & Safety business looking to hire a Site Manager with a HS/CDM focus onto a 6-month project on a site in Swindon. The position entails a 5-day week on-site commitment, with the client acting as the Principal Contractor for a new-build water plant. This project is about to commence and will run for a minimum of 6 months, with the opportunity to take on future contracts with the business once finished.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing construction and design safety elements of the build.
  • Ensuring compliance with CDM regulations on site.
  • Implementing pragmatic and proportionate safety solutions tailored to the project's unique needs.
  • Strong documentation and communication skills are essential.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • NEBOSH General and/or Construction certification
  • Experience with work at heights.
  • Knowledge of confined spaces and temporary works would be advantageous but not essential.
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects and communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
