Stafford Lawrence Ltd Construction & Engineering Recruitment Consultants are recruiting for this vacancy which is a permanent position with our longstanding prestigious client for projects in the Cheltenham area. Our client is a well-known multidisciplinary construction consultancy with offices across the UK. Due to an increased workload on a number of government frameworks projects, our client are recruiting for a Senior Quantity Surveyor, with the ability to work alone and as part of their team. This is a Permanent position. 3 days in the Gloucester office.

REQUIREMENTS
Our client is looking for a candidate with experience working with a Multidisciplinary Construction Consultancy or a specialist chartered PQS.
Candidates should have ability as a Cost professional to manage their own workload.
MRICS Chartered Quantity Surveyor status is highly desirable requirement, but if you are currently working towards APC we will also be happy to hear from you
Candidates should have at least 5 years post qualification experience in the UK as a Cost Consultant/ quantity surveyor.
In addition, you must have a Full Driving Licence and the ability to travel in the area.
Candidates should also have a Degree Qualification in a Construction related subject, ideally, a RICS-accredited degree qualification in quantity surveying or commercial management.
Strong Communication and Client liaison skills as well as the ability to work alone and as part of a team, and the desire to mentor more junior members of the team. Our client are keen to grow their team in the region.
A full clean UK driving licence is required as this position will involve some travel in the region.
3 days per week in the Gloucester office is a requirement. Some flexibility around this
