The practice provides sensitive restoration and repair schemes and modern design in historic contexts. Their bold and contemporary designs are spread across a variety of sectors including cultural, master planning, education, ecclesiastical, public, hospitality, residential, and many more.

Due to continues success of the Kent team they are seeking a Senior Architect to join the team working on historic projects in the region.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Oversee projects from initial concept to completion and guide teams through RIBA stages
  • Working on the production of design and planning packages
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, clients, consultants, and team members to achieve project objectives, within deadlines and budgets through clear and effective communication
  • take responsibility of in the management of design team of 3 people
  • Report to office studio lead and regional partner.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Part III qualified with a minimum of 10 years PQE & UK experience
  • Excellent design and drawing skills
  • Strong understanding of UK building planning and listed building regulations
  • Experience working on historic buildings or interest in the sector
  • Proven experience across all RIBA stages with a focus on 4- 7
  • Proven job running experience
  • AutoCAD skills are essential, and Revit is very desirable
  • Must be eligible to work in the UK.
