A aspiring Assistant Building Surveyor with a desire to become a Chartered Building Surveyor is now needed by a collaborative and APC award-winning Building Consultancy in Manchester.

The motivated Assistant Building Surveyor will need to showcase their skill set with basic understanding of Contract Administration, Building Surveys, Dilapidations and some Party Wall matters.

The successful Assistant Building Surveyor will have the opportunity to work towards MRICS.

The Role for the Assistant Building Surveyor

With excellent clients within the Commercial and Residential sector, the Assistant Building Surveyor will play a key part in furthering relationships alongside a Chartered Building Surveyor. Their clients are held to a high regard and supporting all requirements across the Building Surveying spectrum is part of this role.

You will find a 50/50 split between professional services and projects, supporting stunning Offices and Residential properties within Manchester and surrounding towns.

The Company the Assistant Building Surveyor will join

This well-respected consultancy operates across Manchester and London, supporting domestic and international clients within the Prime Residential world. They do have a portfolio of Commercial clients, with CAT A/B works taking place.

84 employees total and the Assistant Building Surveyor will be supported by a Chartered Building Surveyor and a Director.

This consultancy has solid plans for growth, with the hope to go towards 120 employees by the end of 2027.

What do you need to bring?

  • BSc/MSc in Building Surveying or Real Estate
  • 1+ years work experience (ideally with a consultancy)
  • Residential experience would be ideal
  • Professional services and project management evidence
  • Solid communicator and team player
