I am working with a forward-thinking cost and project management consultancy who are looking to add a commercially aware client facing Senior Quantity Surveyor to their supportive team, based in Canterbury.
The Company
The Senior Quantity Surveyor will be joining a medium-sized cost and project management consultancy who are looking to grow their team, as they have a strong pipeline of work coming in, almost three quarters of their work comes from repeat business.
As a company they provide services in a range of sectors including Residential, Education, Commercial, Healthcare and Heritage. With this company you will get a full variety of projects from small refurbishments to large new builds.
The role of the Senior Quantity Surveyor
The Senior Quantity Surveyor will manage the whole project cycle, including tendering, cost planning, contract administration, and final account negotiation. You will manage and oversee projects, with full accountability for delivery, client satisfaction, and how your team performs.
You will also support the development of junior staff, enhancing their professional training & development, and personal development.
The Senior Quantity Surveyor
- BSc/MSc Quantity Surveying or RICS accredited degree
- MRICS or currently working towards
- Experience within a private practice / consultancy
- Strong Pre and post contract knowledge
- Excellent attitude and team player
- Able to support with mentoring junior colleagues
