A well-regarded Construction Consultancy with several offices in the UK are seeking a Project Manager/Employers Agent with previous experience working for a Construction Consultancy to join their team in their Birmingham office.

The Company:

The Project Manager/Employers Agent will be joining a successful, client focused Construction Consultancy, which have built their success by delivering high-quality Schemes to their clients.

The Project Manager/Employers Agent will be joining a Company are delivering high-quality Schemes within Student Accommodation and Industrial Logistics sector. The Project Manager/Employers Agent will be supporting a strong Project Management team with the delivery of Projects ranging from New Builds to Refurbishments and CAT A/B Fit Outs with Contract Values up to £15m.

Project Manager/Employers Agent Role:

The Project Manager/Employers Agent will have strong experience working within the Student Accommodation and Industrial Sectors and a thorough understanding of running Projects lifecycle from Inception-Completion.

You will be responsible for:

  • Provide continuous support to current/upcoming Project from inception-completion phase
  • Clear communication with internal and external parties throughout project lifecycle
  • Liaise with the Project Management team to resolve any complications
  • Reporting progress feedback on Projects to Senior members of team
  • Ability to deliver Schemes simultaneously
  • Facilitating meetings with clients
  • Ensure all works are compliant with safety and quality standards

The Project Manager/Employers Agent Requirements:

  • Previous experience acting as an Employers Agent
  • Experience working at a Construction Consultancy
  • Knowledge of the Student Accommodation and Industrial Logistics sector would be ideal
  • Solid understanding of Construction Contract types - JCT & D&B
  • MRICS/MAPM qualification would be preferred
  • A relevant BSc/MSc in Construction would be ideal
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

What would be offered:

  • £50,000-£60,000 per annum salary package
  • 28 days annual leave plus bank holidays
