The Associated Builders and Contractors’ Construction Confidence Index shows that sales, profit margins and staffing level remain above the diffusion index threshold of 50 in May. The CCI for sales expectation increased from 68.4 to 70.0 whereas the profit margin expectation fell from 63.0 to 62.8. The staffing levels fell to 66.8 from 67.4.
