A well established Training Provider is on the look out for an Accountancy Tutor to work fully remote.

Key responsibilities include:

Delivering AAT Level 2, 3 and 4 qualifications and other relevant programmes included within the FMBS Accountancy curriculum;
Preparing students for their examinations;
Helping students take responsibility for their learning;
Supporting learners who do not pass their examinations at the first sitting;
Marking learners work and providing feedback and support to achieve their learning goals;
Guiding learners onto the next appropriate course of study
Person Specification

Essential

Relevant Accountancy qualification;
Hold, or be working towards, a recognised teaching qualification;
Achievement of or willingness to attain a teaching qualification;
Achievement of or willingness to attain an assessing qualification;
Proven track record of working to targets & achieving excellent learner success rates;
Evident appreciation of the importance of good relationships with learners & experience of taking successful initiatives to develop & improve the student experience;
Strong oral and written communication skills;
Ability to work independently with limited direct supervision;
Team spirited & understanding of working towards a common goal;
Good organisational skills and a willingness to work flexibly;
Excellent attention to detail;
Desirable

Have experience or hold, or be working towards, a recognised assessing qualification, which could include any of the following:
D32/D33
Highfield Level 3 Award in Assessing Vocationally Related Achievement
Experience of working within the Further Education sector
Safeguarding Children and Vulnerable Adults

It is the responsibility of the successful candidate to commit to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and vulnerable adults within the College.
The successful candidate will undertake their duties in full accordance with the Schools' policies and procedures relating to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and vulnerable adults, e.g. dealing with learner issues i.e. safeguarding and referring on to specialist staff.
This position is subject to an enhanced criminal records check from the Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) and will be subject to satisfactory clearance of this check.
This position is classed as Regulated Activity, so it is subject to an Adult & Child barring check.
