An exciting opportunity has arisen with our client. a large manufacturing business based in Retford Nottinghamshire for an accountant to join their existing small and friendly team.
The is a permanent position to start in February and our client is will to consider someone fully or part qualified. This is an exciting new role with the potential for career development within a rapidly growing and successful business.
Due to the nature of the client base we are also seeking someone fluent in both English and Polish and there will be some travel to European entities involved.
Duties and responsibilities include:
*Budget preparation.
*Final accounts.
*Preparation of statutory returns for the Inland Revue, VAT etc.
*Preparation of Annual Returns.
*Liaison with internal and external auditors.
*Monitoring of budgets.
*Monitoring of bank accounts to ensure sufficient funds available as required.
We are looking for someone with the knowledge and experience to assist the client with the day to day management of accounts and keeping the Financial Controller and Managing Director informed on a regular basis. The ideal candidate should have a positive and proactive approach, good management and leadership skills and be able to work well as part of a small team.
