C&C is a leading commercial catering equipment business with an outstanding reputation and long list of industry awards. They are one of the UK's leading specialist kitchen contractors and they work in partnership with leading hotels and restaurants.
The role
An opportunity has arisen for an Accounts & Admin Assistant to join the small and busy accounts team. The role will involve the day-to-day smooth running of the accounts and administration activities.
Responsibilities include:
- Credit control - chasing debts via email and phone, raising and resolving queries by email and phone, sending out monthly statements, posting monies received on the accounts system
- Credit card reconciliation - matching up receipts and entering them onto a spreadsheet
- Filing invoices, remittances etc
- Assisting with purchase ledgers duties to include - entering invoices, statement reconciliation
- Various ad-hoc tasks as required to support the department
About you:
Whilst some accounts experience is preferred, the ideal candidate will have a good grasp of figures and great numeracy and literacy skills. Additional training will be provided for the right candidate. Also required:
- High level of organisation and able to prioritise work effectively
- Excellent numeracy, written and verbal communications skills
- Able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Punctuality, and able to work to tight deadlines with a keen eye for detail
- IT skills - including MS Word, MS Excel and Sage 200
- Enthusiasm and willingness to build on existing skills and progress within this busy department
Please note - the office is in a rural location not served by public transport, so your own transport will be necessary.
