Position:
Kier Northern is looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant to be based in our Leeds office. The successful candidate will cover a range of duties to support the Technical Administrator and HR Manager.
Working pattern:
This role is suitable for either full time (8.30-5pm Mon to Fri) or part time (9.30am to 3pm Mon to Fri). This is a rolling 3 month contract.
Duties will include completing the following:
- Managing invoices and all queries, liaising with management
- Goods receipting
- Receipting of plans
- Assisting with backlog of account queries including materials and hire orders
- Plant hire and purchase orders
- Sub-contract orders
- Using Oracle to manage accounts queries
- Some financial reporting
- Providing business support for the organisation
- Overdue and urgent accounts issues
Skills:
- Preferably experience within construction but similar industries are transferable
- General accounts experience
- Oracle experience
- Work on own initiative and within a team
- Understand the mechanics of a construction site
- Driving license for site visits
