My client is currently looking to recruit an experienced accounts / finance manager to work for a reputable civil engineering company based in Durham
They are keen to find a well organised, experienced accounts manager to lead their accounts department. The ideal candidate will have experience working within a similar job sector. A background in construction or civil engineering desired, but not essential. Job Information- Training & handover will be provided
- This is a full time role. 8.30 - 5pm Monday to Thursday and 8.30 - 4pm Fridays
- This is ideally a temporary to permanent position (12 weeks) but directly permanent is also an option
- Role is to start asap but we understand there may be a notice period prior to starting
- Parking Available on site
- Current salary of £30,000 but client is willing to negotiate for the appropriate candidate
- You will be first point of contact for the accounts department, with regular contact with company directors
- Account system used by company is Zero to be used for data entry, raising invoices and ensuring all receipts and payments are logged.
- Reporting on cash flow & forecasting
- Managing payroll
- Creating relevant end of month & annual reports
- Will be supported by external accounting firm for EOY accounts
- Knowledge of CIS payments, recording of data and submissions of this
- Manage company cash flow and arrange supplier payment
