Role: Accounts Payable / Payroll Assistant (Full-Time, Permanent)

Location: Bagenalstown, Carlow

Salary: €30k (Neg)

We are currently seeking an Accounts Payable / Payroll Assistant our client - a road mobility technology company, with over 168,000 entrepreneurial minded employees and more than 60 years of experience.

Accounts Payable / Payroll Assistant Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Enter purchase invoices on receipt, matching to purchase orders and delivery documents.

  • Resolve any queries on invoices with suppliers and purchasing team.

  • Reconcile supplier statements on a monthly basis.

  • Prepare all payments including monthly payment runs.

  • Other miscellaneous duties and reconciliations as required.

Accountants Payable / Payroll Requirements:

  • Accounting Technician / IPASS Qualification desirable.

  • Keen attention to detail.

  • Proven ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team.

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Ability to demonstrate good work practices including attendance, timekeeping, tidiness, safety awareness, quality awareness, responsibility and a willingness to learn.

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office package, in particular, Microsoft Excel.

  • English language fluency, both written and spoken.

Accounts Payable / Payroll Additional Information:

  • Must be eligible and willing to work the hours of a permanent day shift;

Day Shift: 8am to 5pm (Monday to Thursday) and 7am to 3pm or 8am to 4pm (Fridays).

  • Flexibility of duties and working hours will be required during busy periods.

  • Must hold valid passport as overnight/overseas travel may be required to off-site.
