Position - Team Administrator

The opportunity
Kier Strategic Frameworks and Alliances provides construction services across the public sector, focusing on the central government departments and regional authorities, securing and growing national and regional construction framework business.

KSFA is looking for an experienced administrator to join then team on a permanent basis to provide general admin support across the entire team. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who experience of working within a multitasking team and is interested in supporting wider business values.

Key areas of responsibility:
  • Participate in company initiatives
  • Ensure Kier's Health and Safety message is effectively delivered
  • Be a role model and lead by example in all areas relating to health and safety
  • Ensure any records/invoices that are passed to you are maintained in an appropriate manner
  • Identify and realise opportunities to save money for the business
  • Awareness of cost to the business e.g. hotels, printing, meeting rooms, catering
  • Communicate effectively with all levels of Kier staff
  • Act as a point of contact and support for the regional offices for the whole of KSFA
  • Ensure company procedures are adhered to and corporate branding guidelines are followed where appropriate
  • Use of computer systems, i.e. BOOST/iTrent/CRM
  • Provide advice if necessary where appropriate to support the KSFA team and regional offices
  • Team administration tasks - meeting room bookings, catering, travel booking, IT support, hotel, conference & travel arrangements, printing/binding of materials
  • Some bid administration support
  • Event planning and coordination
  • Maintaining intranet and website pages for the teams
  • Assist in social strategy and use iConnect
  • Create and distribute the movement reports
  • Event planning and coordination
  • Collate and prepare the Board Reports for MD
Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Previous administrative experience within a professional services business
  • Must be IT literate with understanding of Microsoft Word and Excel, plus systems including BOOST and Oracle (training will be provided)
  • Efficient and professional approach with the ability to multi-task
  • Possess strong communication, organisational and time management skills
  • General willingness to be helpful, enthusiastic and flexible
